This project aimed to analyze a small company and establish how they could increase their marketing efforts in order to increase sales and awareness. This also included analyzing the brand image, online presence, and potential solutions.
Strawberry Milk Mob is a small virtual business based in Canada but that ship worldwide. The utilize a "pull" marketing strategy and advertise that they sell "cute bikinis at cute prices."
Strawberry Milk Mob's brand elements are lacking. There are no consistent fonts or coloration, and there are currently two different logos in use. I recommended incorporating these elements in order to elevate the brand feel.
The Strawberry Milk Mob website is currently the only place where customers can place orders, and they are usually out of stock of many items or sizes. The company could analyze what pieces and sizes sell the most and they could produce more in order to meet demand.
Finally, more consistent advertising could attract more customers and create excitement in current customers.
The company's Instagram and TikTok looks like a personal account. This is a great aspect for this brand because it shows how passionate the owner is about her product. It's personalized and frequently interacts with other users. However, if brand elements were transferred to social media and more engaging content was integrated into posts, more brand awareness could be created instead of users considering the account to just be a personal account posting personal pictures.
If Strawberry Milk Mob were to create special promotions or giveaways for exciting events, this could increase excitement among consumers. They should aim to deliver a unique buying experience, so by offering promotions for special events (examples listed on the right), they could grow their connection with their customers.
Strawberry Milk Mob has done very few pop-up shops. If they were to have more pop-ups in big cities or popular coastal towns, they could connect with consumers who are fans of Georgia Costello and likely sell a great deal of product, if advertised effectively.
Additionally, if the company were to transfer into a selective distribution intensity, selling in stores such as Pacsun or Urban Outfitters, they would help to expand their market and brand reach.
