In this position, I acted as the project manager of research over the other interns at the SC SBDC. I also facilitated the region Facebook page, our region director’s LinkedIn account, and monthly newsletter. Through this, I created a new content posting plan and new posting methods to increase engagement. I was able to achieve a goal of increasing Facebook engagement and follower count by ~5% in roughly half the time that was anticipated. Along with these tasks, I also created graphics, brainstormed solutions to problems that came to light, and worked on daily assigned marketing-focused tasks.
These graphics are examples of content that I produced for the Clemson Region SC SBDC Facebook page and monthly newsletter. Each of these images was coupled with a written statement and often contained an embedded link to an article or a sign up form.
