Haute is a potential venture that I served as the CEO & Founder of. Haute is a company that creates professional clothing that flatters every woman and makes her feel confident so that she can take on the work place! We aim to provide younger women and college students entering the work place with an affordable, flattering option!
The Value
Haute knows how difficult it can be to find professional clothing that makes a woman feel confident and that fits her well. As women, we know the fitting room struggle of finding pants that gap in the back or bunch up too much, or finding a top that looks great on the hanger but then when it is tried on it looks like your grandmother's handbag as a top. We stand to provide an affordable option without sacrificing style, fit, or confidence.
The Pricing
Each article of clothing is made with a material that looks luxurious but is light, flexible, and mimics shape wear. The material varies per product, but after researching and testing different fabrics, we found that different combinations of a spandex and polyester blend work best. Taking the average bulk fabric pricing, labor, transportation, and manufacturing costs into account, we determined that the full cost of a blazer would be $30, a top would be $18, and the trousers would be $27. Since we are targeting younger women entering the business world and college students, we do not want to sacrifice price for their needs.
How Haute is Unique?
It is so difficult for women to find business clothing that they feel fits them well. By using our spandex and polyester blend fabric we offer a special value to our consumers as they will always be able to have a fit that gives them that, "wow" moment.
My Skills
Haute poses to offer a more flattering style and fit and lower costs as compared to our main competitors: Spanx, Ann Taylor, White House Black Market, J Crew, Zara, and H&M.
Growth Plan
Over the course of 2 years Haute plans to establish. strong brand presence through social media campaigns, influencer partnerships, and industry events while also fine tuning the product and establishing an e-commerce platform.
